| Asian American/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy www.aapip.org Managed the development, implementation and management of an end-to-end grants administration solution that supports all aspects of AAPIP's Minnesota Community Engagement Fund. These efforts assisted the initial data management and operational launch as part of the National Gender and Equity Campaign supported by a $15 Million grant from the Ford Foundation.
The Getty Foundation
Served as Program Manager and led the foundation through a cost/benefit analysis for automating grant requests online. Application submissions are received from individuals as well as large insitutions as The Getty is a leader in funding the field of arts conservation in the U.S. and internationally.
Rosie's For All Kids Foundation
Served as Program Director for a public foundation providing grants to U.S. organizations with expertise is in Early Childhood Care and Education. Re-focused the foundation?s programmatic strategies, revitalized the grant-making operations as well as led development of new web presence. The new website implemented automated processes for grant eligibility and online application submission as well as providing refined marketing materials for grantees.
Innovation Network
Managed the development of a knowledge management assessment of communications (internal and external) evaluating knowledge assets, such as contact management systems, and helped Innonet proceed with formal KM initiatives. Lead a market research project, set up and facilitated focus groups of grants managers and IT staff of philanthropic organizations who were interested in the area of program evaluation using web-based technology tools. Served as an interim Director of Technology Development to bridge a transition for Innonet to new technology leadership.
The Wireless Foundation
The Wireless Foundation, a new corporation-based philanthropy, needed to create internal processes for grant review, distribution and reporting, Egan Consulting provided project management services to assist in the building of appropriate policies, procedures and protocols to provide a sustainable grants management infrastructure.
Jimmy's Diner
Directed the creation and implementation of a modest initial web presence for a new restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY. Continuing to guide outreach, marketing and focus a social entrepreneur's energy who desires to serve the community while providing excellent home-cooked fare.
Women In Need, Inc.
Women in Need was about to negotiate the purchase of a system-wide web-based client services management solution tracking homeless women's housing while utilizing an ASP business model. This effort would require a redesign of WIN's operating infrastructure. Egan Consulting assessed project feasibility, offered a comparative analysis with other vendors and valididated the chosen vendor's performance. Project summary findings assisted WIN in its decision to choose a new operating partner, Foothold Technologies.
